This role initiates regulatory affairs submissions as directed by senior team members. The role maintains day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely manner, always upholding a high degree of confidentiality. Staying informed of multi-state requirements and executing necessary reports are essential tasks. The role supports the team’s success through effective and precise administrative assistance, applying best practices to meet unique business needs. Following existing procedures in a specialized area under direct supervision is required, with very little autonomy to deviate from assigned tasks. Considerable judgment is exercised within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Must possess strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office and, specifically, Excel
  • Must be able to work independently after given instructions and guidance and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Must have a high level of problem-solving capacity
  • Must be self-motivated and driven
  • Must communicate effectively – both in writing and orally
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime, particularly between September and December.
  • At least one year in a customer service role and/or administrative role is required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher is preferred, but equitable work experience will be accepted
  • Enrollment in a degree program in pursuit of an Associates degree (or higher) will be considered, but only if in one of the following (or comparable) fields: accounting, business administration or general business, insurance, or legal studies
  • Insurance licensing experience or accounting experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, organizes, tracks, and maintains insurance licensing information and continuing education documentation with agency partners
  • Provides agency partners with hands-on, one-on-one guidance and assistance in meeting licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Maintains confidences and protects operations by maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with all sensitive information and assigned tasks
  • Manages the affiliation of all individual licensees to Acrisure’s agency licenses, both as part of our mergers and acquisition (“M&A”) process and our daily operations
  • Provides overall agent and carrier support and assistance through written and oral communications
  • Maintains day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely fashion at the direction of the team
  • Maintains current knowledge of team responsibilities and is cognizant of the team’s function by supporting the success of the team through effective and accurate administrative assistance
  • Resolves limited and non-routine problems as required; and,
  • Maintains a broad awareness of the roles of the immediate team members and work function.
