The associate position within Pew's Government Performance Portfolio focuses on supporting operational needs related to project and contract management, compliance, event planning, internal communications, and Salesforce operations. The role aims to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment while contributing to initiatives that improve broadband access and address complex governmental challenges.

  • Foster a work environment that is diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible in line with Pew's goals.
  • Support the associate manager by developing workflow procedures for operations-related activities, maintaining timelines, and managing expectations around contract and grant deliverables.
  • Draft agendas for internal coordination meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items with participants.
  • Assist in compliance efforts with colleagues from Legal, Government Relations, Contracts and Procurement, and Finance.
  • Facilitate project management support for the project team, including shared files, meetings, and deliverable tracking.
  • Build and manage Salesforce campaigns for legislative, project pipeline, and stakeholder tracking.
  • Assist with events and convenings, including planning logistics, drafting stakeholder communications, and notetaking.
  • Participate in activities that support program and Pew-wide objectives.
  • Works effectively with colleagues and leverages a variety of technical systems to advance complex projects to successful completion with measurable results.
  • Aptitude to apply a non-partisan, evidence-based approach to projects and campaigns that require support across the political spectrum.
  • Systems skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Proven interpersonal skills to develop and manage productive and collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven aptitude to think strategically and creatively, juggle multiple priorities, adjust to changing circumstances, organize time efficiently, and remain attentive to details.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, one year of applicable experience.
  • Naturally develops and manages productive and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
