As an Associate HR Data Analyst, this role will be responsible for leading HR data quality initiatives by conducting audits, identifying discrepancies, and proactively communicating data issues to stakeholders and data owners. This role will also contribute to the preparation of HR reports and dashboards to provide insights into data quality and HR metrics. This position is located in Arlington and is in onsite Monday – Friday.

  • Perform regular audits of HR data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Identify data issues and discrepancies and document them with clear explanations.
  • Collaborate with HR teams, data owners, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality concerns.
  • Maintain data integrity by monitoring, tracking, and reporting on audit outcomes.
  • Perform analysis of complex and voluminous workforce data from different variety of sources.
  • Analyze and mine data from a variety of sources to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points.
  • Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Perform queries and interpret business data requests to create efficient queries.
  • Create HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
  • Perform data cleansing and standardization activities.
  • Work collaboratively with appropriate Technology teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
  • Improve the quality of data and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements for data management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate more than just numbers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or in a related field at a four-year accredited institution (Graduated in 2025).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in data integration and data governance practices, and familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Good communication skills to clearly articulate data issues to stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple, detailed tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to clearly articulate data issues to stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Exposure to HR systems (such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Understanding of HR processes and data workflows.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL or other query languages.
  • Experience creating HR reports or dashboards for business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interest in HR analytics, reporting, or data governance.
