About The Position

The Associate HR Business Partner will support the Manufacturing facility at Callaway Golf, ensuring a positive, productive, and legally compliant work environment. This role focuses on employee relations, performance management, workforce staffing, and operations training programs. The ideal candidate will be business savvy, driven, and passionate about inspiring innovation and organizational effectiveness while educating leaders on best HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR) desired.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Generalist capacity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze HR data.
  • Experience handling inquiries from the EEO, DEFH, DOL, and EDD preferred.
  • Sensitivity and experience working with a diverse, multi-cultural workforce.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of all facets of Human Resources including workforce planning, staffing, labor relations, compensation, benefits, and training/development.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage employee relations, complaint resolution, and investigations, providing counsel and recommendations.
  • Ensure legal requirements are met to protect the Company and limit claims exposure.
  • Partner with assigned client groups to implement and execute HR programs, processes, and tools, primarily in workforce staffing, performance management, employee development, and employee relations.
  • Interpret HR policies, employment/labor laws, and regulations for internal customers.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of employment and labor laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Support organizational restructuring, planning, and execution.
  • Support training for both people leaders and union employees.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts across the organization as necessary.
  • Support HR Business Partner in negotiating and administering labor contracts.
  • Report on and analyze plant and office labor turnover/absentee activities and develop programs to reduce absenteeism and tardiness.
