About The Position

Peraton is seeking to hire an Associate Help Desk Systems Administrator for one our program located at Robins Air Force Base, GA. In this role, you will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. You will interact with users, make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery. You will ensure workstation data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Additionally, you will conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration/library of all supporting documentation and process DD2875s. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space. You will also interact with users and evaluate vendor products, make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery, and develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Foundational knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, self-supervisory, and results oriented.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in TOAP Web, TMIS, Teamcenter systems.
  • General experience with DoD networks.
