About The Position

The Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) is a key role within the Outside Sales team, responsible for driving new business and expanding the company's footprint in emerging markets. This position involves significant travel to meet with local and regional restaurant owners, negotiating partnerships and revenue share agreements to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.

Requirements

  • 2.5+ years of experience in a closing sales role or related experience
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with restaurant owners
  • Efficient and strategic with inside and outside sales tactics
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on building strategies and playbooks for scalable success

Responsibilities

  • Win new business across assigned geography
  • Manage a largely transactional deal cycle to drive new partnerships with local and regional restaurants
  • Coordinate work with a Regional Sales Manager
  • Travel to emerging markets to expand the Client footprint
  • Sell restaurant owners on the value of partnering with Client and negotiate revenue share agreements
  • Close new business within days in a fast-paced environment
