About The Position

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to kick start your Actuarial career with an in-depth, on-the-job learning experience coupled with a formal development program at one of the strongest insurance brands in the world, Allianz Commercial. We are seeking aspiring Actuarial Science Bachelor’s graduates who are interested in joining our Global Pricing team, helping to drive the global implementation of costing and pricing excellence for all commercial business. The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious, team-minded contributor. You will spend the first 12 months you are with us learning alongside a team of senior and experienced staff, participating in strategic projects, and grasping the basics of case pricing and supporting portfolio profitability reviews. As an Associate Graduate – Global Pricing Actuary you will benefit from exposure to global pricing across lines of business and the ability to build your actuarial knowledge, performing a combination of both independent and team-driven tasks that may be regular or project/ad hoc in nature, on the job learning on efforts and deliverables that directly and influentially contribute to the pricing function’s success on a team and departmental level, learning opportunities at the global Allianz Academy, and a lasting network with your peers helping to further shape your career at Allianz Commercial.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience through internships, academic projects, or employment.
  • Passed at least two Actuarial exams (CAS).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and present solutions effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, VBA, SQL, or Python.
  • Curious and creative mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships.
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills.
  • Ability to assess the impact of issues and proposed strategies.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools for efficiency and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, motivation, enthusiasm, and drive for success.
