About The Position

Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department is accepting applications for at least one (1) Permanent, Full-Time Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) or a highly qualified Staff Services Analyst (SSA) as the Settlements Coordinator for the Human Resources Benefit Unit. This position is under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Benefit Manager (Staff Services Manager I). The AGPA/SSA will serve as the Settlement Authority Review Analyst responsible for monitoring, managing and closing complex workers compensation claims and will share the responsibility with other Return-to-Work Coordinators, to plan, organize, and manage the hospital's Return-to-Work Program. The Return-to-Work Coordinator serves as the hospital's liaison for injured workers, the medical providers, management, and the State Compensation Insurance Fund.

Requirements

• Experience in workers compensation, return to work practices, and/or human resource processes and practices.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance under pressure.
• Dependability and excellent attendance.
