About The Position

ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST - LAW ENFORCEMENT AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIVISION / PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS /INVESTIGATIONS UNIT- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT The reporting location for this position is 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. This position will work under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) independently performs the more complex and technical analytical duties in support of the Department's Law Enforcement and Emergency Services (LEES) Division programs. The AGPA provides analytical, programmatic, and administrative support in areas such as peace officer personnel administration, POST compliance, policy development, contracts management, and program reporting.This position is tasked with applying rules, regulations, and policies related to law enforcement managed programs and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner. Training and Development Assignments may be considered. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle. This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered. State housing is not available. Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required.
