About The Position

ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST - OCEANO DUNES DISTRICT / ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES / PISMO BEACH DISTRICT OFFICE The reporting location for this position is our beautiful Oceano Dunes District Office located at 340 James Way, Pismo Beach, CA, 93449. This position will work under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I. Come join the State Parks Oceano Dunes team in this exciting role! This position is the Lead Business Management Services analyst over administrative services and works in close communication with the DAC, helping to oversee administrative budget issues and allocation distributions, along with certifying funds availability for expenditures.In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: Proficient utilizing various computer software/programs (e.g. Fi$Cal, DocuSign, MS Excel, MS Access). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and recommend effective courses of action, perform completed staff work, and establish priorities in accordance with time management methodology. Ability to establish and maintain accurate records and files. Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, poise, firmness and integrity. Training and Development Assignments may be considered. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application.
