Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I in the Certification Unit, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst facilitates Small Business (SB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation in state contracting by performing the most complex analytical and consultative duties for the SB/DVBE certification program, such as tax returns, employee forms, legal documents, contracts, etc; develops and maintains the SB/DVBE certification programs by providing innovative solutions in the application of policies and regulations, utilizing Microsoft Office products and various office information systems, in accordance with California Code of Regulations (CCR), Government Code (GC), Military and Veterans Code (MVC), Public Contract Code (PCC), State Contracting Manual (SCM) and the State Administrative Manual (SAM).. Conflict of Interest: This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests.
