About The Position

Hybrid Telework Opportunity. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for managing more varied and complex technical work and for providing support and assistance to management and other team members. Duties include analyzing and screening applications for the Small and Rural Hospital Relief Program and assisting health construction financing analysts with the review and processing of the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI)'s Health Financing Program applications. The AGPA routinely provides consultative services to management and external stakeholders regarding funding applications and contracts. Additional responsibilities include performing fiscal and program reviews of funded applicants, tracking grant and loan payments and ongoing compliance of awarded projects, maintaining the insurance compliance database, preparing reports, and making recommendations to supervisors. Requirements

  • Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
  • If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include a copy of your unofficial transcripts and/or license for verification.
  • Official sealed transcripts will be required upon appointment.
  • If it is determined an application does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the applicant will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position.
  • Applicants who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

  • Experience in banking or financial institutions handling loan payments.
  • Experience in business financial statement analysis.

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry.
  • Experience with writing reports, communicating with customers, or building relationships with clients.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, pay close attention to detail, work independently and be task oriented.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business meetings and trainings.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Excel, and Word.
