Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) assists the Victim Compensation Division (VCD) management with workload management, processes, and procedures. The AGPA independently completes the most difficult and complex assignments, including application and bill processing. This position requires a proficient and working knowledge of the Cares2 system, as well as the laws, rules, and policies governing the CalVCB. This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at least two (2) days per week as needed/required. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. We do not accept STEM-OPT.
