About The Position

Under direction of the Lieutenant, Theft Unit, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) has primary responsibility for supporting investigatory matters handled by Security & Law Enforcement (SLED) Field Investigations Unit. The AGPA will conduct the most complex and comprehensive analysis of theft related criminal cases generated by Lottery retailers. The AGPA will be required to collect, analyze, record, and integrate data from multiple internal Lottery resources to accurately identify stolen Lottery products. This is a hybrid telework position, requiring a minimum of (2) in-office days per week at Lottery Headquarters (Sacramento). The SLED / Theft Unit is operational 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. The AGPA will be required to work one of three shifts (see working conditions section below). This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is eligible for either a remote-based or office-based telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires employee residence in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California."

  • Current Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam.
  • Ability to report to assigned headquarters office as needed.

  • All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678).
