Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst performs technical personnel and payroll transactions functions related to temporary leaves including, but not limited to, Worker's Compensation, Non-Industrial Disability (NDI), Non-Industrial Family Care Leave (NDI-FCL), State Disability Insurance (SDI), Paid Family Leave (PFL), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and Catastrophic Leave. The incumbent is responsible for developing and conducting training to Transactions team members as well as assessing, reviewing, evaluating, and developing policies, procedures, and processes related to the HR Transactions Temporary Leave Unit. The incumbent also develops departmental memorandums to communicate policy changes from control agencies, and conducts various Transactions Temporary Leave audits.
