About The Position

This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. This is subject to change based on operational need and/or future return to office orders. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II in the Contracts Management Unit 2, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst coordinates and controls all aspects of the acquisition of goods and services, through procurement planning, specification review, bid development, negotiations, contract award, lease, and administration phases, utilizing Cal eProcure, Financial Information System for California (Fi$cal), SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite to ensure accordance with procurement laws, rules, regulations and policies. This position may be downgraded to Staff Services Analyst for recruitment purposes. If downgraded, duties will be adjusted accordingly. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
