About The Position

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the AGPA performs a variety of complex, technical, and varied analytical and evaluative work relating to the provision of the nonprofit security grants within Cal OES. They will function in a demanding and changing environment, which requires effectively maintaining a routine workload and regularly respond to short-term tasks. They review, analyze, process, and prepare responses to a variety of forms, documents, and correspondence pertaining to nonprofit security grants. Required to meet legal, regulatory, and internal deadlines on all assignments. In addition is responsible for formulating procedures, policies, and program alternatives, making recommendations on program-related issues, and advising management on the potential impact. Must be able to analyze situations and take effective action. They are required to travel throughout the state and conduct workshop presentations. May be required to work overtime as necessary in support of Cal OES program objectives. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

  • The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver's License (DL).
