Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist with a focus on pediatric patients to join our team at Just Kids Dental. As a General Dentist, your primary focus will be on diagnosing and treating oral health issues in children and adolescents who do not require a referral to a pediatric dentist/specialist. Your responsibilities will include performing routine examinations, cleanings, restorative procedures, and preventive care. You will work closely with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality dental services while adhering to our mission and values.

Requirements

D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
State licensure in Louisiana.
Strong commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their families.
A genuine passion for pediatric dentistry and a desire to make a positive impact on young patients' oral health.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including routine examinations, cleanings, and restorative procedures.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Provide preventive care, educate patients, and their caregivers on proper oral hygiene, and address dental concerns with empathy and patience.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care.
Work closely with the dental team to ensure a safe and hygienic operatory environment.
Uphold infection control protocols and adhere to the highest standards of patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous learning and professional development.
Provide guidance and mentorship to dental staff, fostering a culture of excellence in pediatric dental care.
