As Associate General Counsel, you will support US registered and unregistered investment companies, including fund formation, regulatory filings, product development, and board support. Additionally, you will handle private equity secondaries funds, related portfolio investments (e.g., M&A, private placements, complex securities), general corporate matters, and other special projects.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of legal experience in the investment management space.
  • Deep experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and US federal securities laws.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously across various teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with C-level executives.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset focused on delivering results.

Responsibilities

  • Support US registered and unregistered investment companies.
  • Handle fund formation and regulatory filings.
  • Assist in product development and board support.
  • Manage private equity secondaries funds and related portfolio investments.
  • Address general corporate matters and special projects.
