The purpose of this position is to address legal matters within specific departments and subject matter areas while maintaining close communication with colleagues to ensure an integrated, consistent approach to legal services. In this role you will lead and manage certain litigation and pre-litigation matters across civil, commercial, employment, regulatory, and class action cases. You will assist with the development and execution of litigation strategy in alignment with business priorities and risk tolerance, select, supervise, and manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality and cost-effective legal representation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess legal risk, develop case strategy, collect evidence, and prepare witnesses. Additionally, you will represent the company in settlement negotiations, mediations, trials, and arbitrations, oversee responses to subpoenas, government inquiries, and other document requests, and assist with the maintenance of case tracking systems, litigation budgets, and legal holds. You will also advise business units on dispute resolution strategies and help minimize exposure through proactive legal counseling, support internal investigations and compliance review as needed, and contribute to company policies and procedures related to risk management, dispute resolution, and document retention.
