Associate General Counsel - Litigation Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Associate General Counsel - Litigation is responsible for providing legal advice and strategic counsel on complex, high-impact litigation, and related projects. Focus of work is on large scale and/or high financial level projects with broad department and/or organizational impact and moderate level of risk. Works as a strategic partner and decision maker with more senior leaders and manages work independently. A key focus of this position will as part of a newly created affirmative litigation program. This includes working with business clients and other internal stakeholders to identify litigation opportunities to recover overpayments or damages, conducting an internal investigation, working with outside counsel to analysis and develop recommendations, then ultimately managing the litigation if filed. This role is enterprise-wide across all affiliates and subsidiaries and all lines of business. The role is part of the litigation team and will include other responsibilities as assigned.
