In April 2025, S&P Global announced its intent to separate S&P Global Mobility ("Mobility") from S&P Global to drive long-term value creation. The planned separation is expected to result in Mobility becoming a standalone public company. This position reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel and will be a core member of the function’s leadership team. The Associate General Counsel – Corporate & Securities is responsible for supporting a business of approximately $1.8 billion in revenue and ~3,500 employees world-wide, providing legal and strategic counsel on 1934 Act disclosure and compliance, NYSE/SEC compliance, and corporate finance and strategic transactions (including capital markets transactions, corporate banking matters, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures). This leader will play a key role in the Company’s governance and disclosure process to support a newly established public company. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, client-facing environment Partner closely with colleagues across the business and Mobility senior leadership design and build public company disclosure, governance and reporting infrastructure, scaling over time based on business growth (to add 1-2 team members) Serve as a key leader in an agile, collaborative corporate legal department (likely 5-6 attorneys) that is valued for its excellence and clear and concise advice Serve as a business-oriented, senior legal advisor and core member of the function’s leadership team, counseling on issues of significant importance to the company provide support to the Board and Audit Committee in connection with the Committee’s financial reporting and oversight responsibilities
