About the position

The School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Cybersecurity Policy. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. Particular topics of research and teaching expertise should include political communication (e.g., influence operations and propaganda), critical infrastructure (e.g., energy security), cyber conflict, and/or digital political economy. Candidates should be able to connect with strengths of the school in areas such as law, energy, health, urban, and science policy. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in the field of Cybersecurity Policy.
  • Teach undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Engage in service activities at Georgia Tech.

Requirements

  • An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment.
