The Department of Child and Family Studies in the USF College of Behavioral and Community Sciences is seeking a tenured Associate-Full Professor in a 12-month position to serve as a Program Director and faculty member for its Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling (CRMHC)program. The CRMHC Program is housed within the Department of Child and Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at USF. It offers a comprehensive suite of CACREP-accredited graduate and undergraduate programs, including: Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master of Arts in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and Disability Sciences (fully online) An undergraduate minor and undergraduate certificate in Addiction and Substance Abuse These programs prepare students to become Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) and/or Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs), with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and service to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. The University of South Florida (USF) College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS) also proudly houses the Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce (FCBHW), which stands in service to the state. CBCS also houses a University Center for Developmental Disabilities and will be the future home of a research center in substance abuse and mental health research to be funded by the state of Florida.
