About The Position

Roc Nation is seeking an FP&A Associate that will own the full, company-wide P&L and cash flow for Roc Nation's various business lines. This individual will act as both a strategic thought partner and a hands-on operator — equally comfortable building long-range forecasts, as they are untangling complex problems and improving backend systems. This is an ideal role for a high-energy problem solver who brings a can-do mindset, exceptional organization skills, and the ability to see how people, processes, and systems connect. You will not simply report the numbers — you will synthesize the information and work cross-functionally to solve problems and influence decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Strong ownership experience managing multiple P&Ls
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Growing proficiency in Excel; working experience with ERP systems and planning tools (BPC is a plus)
  • Ability to build clean, structured, and scalable models
  • Good understanding of accrual accounting and financial operations
  • Problem Solver: Sees ambiguity as an opportunity, not a roadblock
  • Can-Do Attitude: Jumps in, figures it out, involve the right people, and moves things forward
  • Exceptionally Organized: Manages complexity without dropping details and able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Systems Thinker: Understands how tools, data, and people connect end-to-end
  • Clear Communicator: Able to simplify complex concepts for finance stakeholders
  • High Ownership Mentality: Treats the business as if it were their own
  • Coachable: Curious and motivated to continuously level up technical and analytical skills
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
