About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: The S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Team has responsibility for providing coverage, quality, and service across several pricing products. The team provides support for pricing millions of instruments a day (internally and externally) while proactively enhancing the methodology for pricing Fixed Income securities. S&P Global services are used by institutions to help them monitor risk, mark-to-market, and develop accurate forecasting models. Responsibilities and Impact: This opening provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Fixed Income markets (Corporate Bonds preferred) and data management interests and experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to help support the needs of our Americas client base and work with other team members around the globe. The position focuses on daily pricing responsibilities, as well as working with large dataset to enhance, identify, and implement pricing quality to further S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Services. Leveraging data analysis tools while working with large datasets to draw meaningful insight and make recommendations Will propose and help implement process improvements to realize enhanced quality and improve efficiency across S&P's pricing products Work across the pricing products and the broader organization to effect change and identify opportunities to grow the business (special focus on sales and business development) Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P Global's Fixed Income Pricing business Will be required to gain an in-depth product knowledge of S&P Global's pricing products and be able to speak effectively on them internally and externally Provide exceptional client service by responding to client questions on pricing and methodology, and performing price challenges Will be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback, and acting on feedback from customers on our products Responsible for daily evaluation in the form of assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checks Adjust daily pricing assumptions to reflect security performance in current market conditions Generate metrics and reports on the quality of pricing data What’s in it for you: Become a subject matter expert in a specific sub-asset class within the Corporate Bond Pricing universe Client facing experience Exposure and coordination with global team based in Singapore, India, and Europe, as well as the department’s leadership team Opportunity to work on large data sets and financial markets data Exposure to different products such as reference data and evaluated bonds
