About The Position

The Associate, Financial Services Developmental position is a hybrid role designed for individuals to rotate through various financial services functional areas within the organization. The incumbent will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business unit's functional purpose and financial challenges while learning about financial services strategies, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, marketing, analytics, business, engineering, or related degree.
• An internship or comparable experience in a financial services delivery function is desirable.
• CPA or advanced finance degree is desirable but not required.
• Ability to develop consultation, facilitation, negotiation, influence, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of competitive challenges and financial services value proposition.

• Experience with financial services strategies that complement organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, key decision makers, and FS processes and procedures.
• Develop working knowledge of critical FS functions including finance & accounting, business planning, enterprise planning, portfolio management, treasury, and commercial energy solutions.
• Learn to apply policies and procedures across the organization and recommend continuous improvement changes.
• Focus on personal development and stay current in the latest FS best practices.
• Implement functions that effectively strengthen the TVA and customer partnership.
