Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Three to five years previous investment services experience preferred.
  • FINRA licenses 6, 63, 65, 7 required.
  • Highly organized and a self-starter.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to identify, research, and solve problems quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers, broker/dealer, referral sources, and customers in a highly professional manner.
  • Ability to listen effectively, learn quickly, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and shift quickly to new tasks when priorities change.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and be proactive in servicing existing and prospective client relationships.
  • Assist the financial consultant in maximizing sales results while minimizing their time spent on administrative and operational tasks.
  • Be well versed in all broker/dealer technology, compliance, advisory alerts, investment products, services, and solutions.
  • Manage, coordinate, and maintain appointment and referral opportunities for the financial consultant.
  • Assist in the development of additional referrals through assigned banking partners.
  • Provide necessary administrative and operational support to the financial consultant, including processing documentation.
  • Work directly with clients and assist them in servicing their relationship.
  • Take direction from the financial consultant in receiving and processing orders with the broker/dealer on behalf of the client.
  • Grow assets under management from an existing book of investment business.
  • Develop and work leads received from branch personnel.
  • Complete assigned training within designated time frame.
