About The Position

This position sits within the Center of Enterprise Technology Analytics team primarily supporting Fidelity Technology Business Units (BUs). This role is highly analytical and requires an individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced and complex organization while working in a team-oriented environment. The Associate Financial Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, producing financial reports, producing, and reviewing monthly activity-based financials, reviewing cost allocation, and providing other documents and analysis that support the overall Finance function in achieving its strategic and business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1+ years of experience, preferably in an analyst role
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Excel skills required
• Outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
• Flexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to teams

Nice To Haves

• Strong experience with various software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
• Thorough understanding of financial concepts, methodologies, and accounting principles
• Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approach

Responsibilities

• Producing financial reports
• Producing and reviewing monthly activity-based financials
• Reviewing cost allocation
• Providing documents and analysis that support the overall Finance function
• Supporting the creation of detailed financial plans for functional expense and headcount
• Preparing BU revenue and expense reporting
• Month-end close processing as well as variance analysis
• Providing timely and thorough response to ad hoc financial requests
