As an IT Field Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch technical assistance, from resolving hardware and software issues to setting up networks and installing equipment. Your role will involve traveling to different sites, interfacing directly with clients, and utilizing your expertise to overcome a diverse array of IT challenges. Strategically plan daily routes to meet deadlines efficiently. Provide direct on-site problem resolution for both hardware and software. Identify and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems. Respond to tickets in accordance with SLA guidelines. Configure and install new IT equipment. Set up hardware and software components. Perform regular maintenance on technology equipment. Test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Document installations and repairs accurately. Have and maintain all tools and equipment used during service calls. Have Educate customers on proper equipment usage. Ensure all systems are functioning correctly. Manage stock of replacement parts and equipment. Maintain incident records and their resolutions. Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor. “The Field Service Technician must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and be able to push, pull or drag up to 100 pounds also be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
