We are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/ Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician for our Paris, TX office. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance at our Paris Tx Compressor Station and related pipeline facilities. May occasionally be required to assist in other areas. Will be required to comply with all Company, DOT, PHMSA, OSHA, and Environmental rules and regulations. Learn the Company OMS process for documenting job functions as required. Occasionally required to perform unscheduled and/or emergency work. Position will be required to learn to operate the Paris Tx Compressor Station. Individuals will need to be self-motivated and work with limited supervision and when operator qualified, participate in the On-Call duties, and respond to call outs, as necessary. Normal work hours for this position are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST Monday – Friday, however this position is subject to occasional schedule adjustments as needed. The successful candidate for this position will be required to live within 30 miles of the Paris Tx Compressor Station.

Requirements

Must live within 30 miles of facility.
Individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple tasks.
Experience with Microsoft programs as well as the ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacture’s guidelines.
Physical requirements of the role include the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 ft. in order to transfer tools and equipment, the ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns, and the ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy and wet environments.
Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record is required and the ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle.
Must have strong commitment to personal and team safety.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
