About The Position

As an Associate Field Service Representative, you will perform independent and/or supervised on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repair of our Mako Robot. The Mako Robot is a highly complex robotics medical equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and providing both phone and on-site customer support. Also, verifying and approving the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment. Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods/techniques for obtaining solutions Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters. Achieve and maintain a high level of performance, allowing Stryker to meet and exceed the company’s financial goals and performance metrics Collaborate with Sr. Level Field Service Representatives and Sales Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation in a complete, accurate and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to, field service reports, expense reports and service checklists Possess ability to schedule and work independently or with a team on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors – required Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and office applications - required Other duties may include, but are not limited to, travel and assist in other Field Service team members territories, instructing/training customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment, software and hardware upgrades/updates, installation, and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, and cadaver labs or seminars as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and office applications

  • Previous experience as a technical field service professional or in a relevant capacity
  • Associates or Bachelors
