The Associate, Research Analyst will support Visa’s North America Government Affairs team across a range of political and public policy initiatives, with a focus on legislative and regulatory matters in support of the NA GA Federal team. This role is well‑suited for a new college graduate interested in public policy, government relations, or political engagement who is eager to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities will span administrative support, event planning, research, writing, and exposure to strategic initiatives that support Visa’s North America government affairs priorities. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. They should demonstrate strong written communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset. This role offers a strong foundation and development opportunity for someone early in their career looking to build experience in government engagement and public policy within a global organization. While prior professional experience is not required, relevant academic coursework, internships, campus involvement, or volunteer experience related to government, public policy, political science, or communications is strongly valued. Exposure to financial services or technology policy is a plus but not required. The Associate will regularly support time‑sensitive work and collaborate with both internal and external partners, making good judgment, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn critical to success.
