This posting is for a part-time position on Post’s main campus in Waterbury, CT, and is not a remote opportunity. Candidates with applicable terminal degrees are desired. Requirements

  • All associate faculty members must have at the minimum, a master’s degree, and significant experience in their area of instruction.
  • Each Associate Faculty member must have college transcripts (official) on file with Associate Experience/Human Resources.
  • Each Associate Faculty member will complete a training session before his/her first teaching assignment at Post University.
  • Directly related doctoral-level degree preferred.
  • College teaching experience (two or more years) is desired.
  • Desire to experience 21st-century models of teaching and learning.
  • Possess integrity and work ethic.
  • Has superior relationship-building skills with students or other associates.
  • Demonstrates affinity for the mission of higher education.
  • Has computer and systems usage competency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, and business software applications are desired.
  • Possess the flexibility to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides service to students in and out of the classroom through engaging classroom instruction in alignment with Post University’s Associate Faculty expectations.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise in core MBA disciplines, including but not limited to Strategic Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Economics, Accounting, and Business Ethics.
  • Adhere to all Post University best practices, protocols, policies, procedures, and applicable laws or regulations.
  • Nurtures creditable student relations through the highest quality student evaluations.
  • Facilitate Class Instruction in accordance with learning outcomes and syllabi specified by the Assistant/ Program Chair.
  • Classroom Management adhering to all Post University policies and guidelines.
  • Evaluate Student Performance based on course deliverables and course rubrics.
  • Participate in any discussion boards, class discussions, and chat sessions as determined by the course.
  • Respond Promptly to Grade Determination and submit grades according to established requirements.
  • Input Final Grades in WebReg and into the Blackboard Grade Center.
