About The Position
The Associate Faculty member is a part-time employee hired to teach specific courses during an academic session or term. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about education and are committed to helping students achieve their learning outcomes. The primary responsibility of the Associate Faculty member is to convey course material effectively, ensuring that students can meet the instructional goals set for the course. This role requires adherence to the university's policies and procedures, as well as a commitment to maintaining high academic standards and engagement with students. In this role, the Associate Faculty member will facilitate class instruction, manage the classroom environment, evaluate student performance, and adhere to course guidelines. They will work closely with the Assistant/Program Chair and Student Advising to address any concerns that arise during the course. The Associate Faculty member is expected to actively participate in discussions, respond promptly to grade determinations, and input final grades into the university's systems. This position is essential for maintaining the quality of education at Post University and requires a dedication to student success and academic integrity.
