The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Where you come in: You will be a part of a dynamic team that works closely with Manufacturing to provide planning and support. You will perform and facilitate operation and maintenance of utility and building systems. You will perform intermediate duties in the operation and maintenance of utility and building systems associated controls, sub-systems, auxiliaries, and accessories. You will assist in Initiating repairs, testing, and diagnoses equipment problems. You will communicate with senior staff to document corrective action necessary to avoid malfunctions, energy excess, shutdown, or damage of any system. You will maintain acceptable attendance record, punctuality, and meeting deadlines What makes you successful: You are able to read basic blueprints and equipment diagrams. You have basic knowledge and understanding of engineering fundamentals with respect to Mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. You have knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions. You have knowledge of tests performed for systems operations with ability to determine repair needs and effectively communicate them to supervisor. You have operational knowledge of at least 3 major systems; (HVAC) and pneumatic controls, building steam systems, domestic and industrial water systems, compressed air systems, refrigeration, air conditioning compressors and controls, water systems, electrical systems, Emergency Generator, UPS, Boilers, and other related controls and systems. Requirements

  • You are able to read basic blueprints and equipment diagrams.
  • You have basic knowledge and understanding of engineering fundamentals with respect to Mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • You have knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions.
  • You have knowledge of tests performed for systems operations with ability to determine repair needs and effectively communicate them to supervisor.
  • You have operational knowledge of at least 3 major systems; (HVAC) and pneumatic controls, building steam systems, domestic and industrial water systems, compressed air systems, refrigeration, air conditioning compressors and controls, water systems, electrical systems, Emergency Generator, UPS, Boilers, and other related controls and systems.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years previous experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, and employees; ability to comprehend spoken language.
