Position Summary: Maintains work areas of offices and industrial buildings to keep them clean and orderly. Uses janitorial supplies, maintains restroom areas, and removes waste material. Performs special cleaning projects as assigned. Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing duties. Duties may include dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored following use. Replenish products and supplies in assigned area. Alert appropriate personnel concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems. Notify supervisor of need to order various cleaning supplies and equipment. Remove and dispose of debris or trash. May perform basic maintenance and repair duties, including outside grounds work as required. Entry-level support role. Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision. What you bring to the role: Possesses moderate understanding of general aspects of job. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. High School Diploma or equivalent. 0-1 year general experience. 1 year functional experience strongly desired. Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $34,900.00 - $52,400.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
