Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum two to four years of management experience in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • State license as a nursing home administrator and/or Assisted Living License.

  • Memory Care experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the organization and business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations in support of the Executive Director.
  • Oversee occupancy and monthly financial performance for the property.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, employees, and the community.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring effective training programs are executed.
  • Ensure high resident satisfaction and retention through quality service delivery.
  • Administer annual resident satisfaction surveys and execute renewal programs.
  • Develop and maintain annual operating and capital budgets with the Executive Director.
  • Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure property maintenance meets company standards through inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Foster creativity among staff to deliver high-quality services and maintain stability.
  • Engage with the local community and represent the facility to various public agencies.
  • Conduct regular meetings with department heads and associates to review safety and operational issues.
