About The Position

The Associate, Events & Operations position at Boston Common Golf involves coordinating and executing various projects and assignments to support the leadership team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment and demonstrated experience providing a high-level of customer service.
• Prior work experience within fast-paced, unstructured and frequently changing environments.
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Attention to detail while also having the ability to work quickly balancing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Must be able to lift and move boxes of ~20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Boston Common Golf events including community events and sponsor events.
• Establish community outreach programming and identify areas of need.
• Assist with event logistics, such as venue booking, catering, guest lists, and transportation.
• Help develop event timelines, budgets, and reports to track progress and outcomes.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Governor and CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements and managing expense reports.
• Organize and maintain files, documents, and records.
• Assist with internal and external communications, ensuring timely follow-ups on key initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, including research and agendas.
• Assist in coordinating Boston Common Golf staff volunteer efforts.
