About The Position
The Europe and Central Asia (ECA) division of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide administrative support to the team. The Europe and Central Asia division works to advance human rights throughout Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Turkey and conducts a wide range of work, including investigation, report writing, advocacy, multimedia, social media and other media work. This is a full-time position and will be based in our New York office. The candidate will be expected to work at least three days per week in the office. This position reports to the Deputy Director of the ECA Division, also based in the New York office, and supports the entire division, particularly those working on Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and countries in Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
