About The Position

We're making a lasting impact on our industry and within our communities by addressing the climate, affordability and equity crises through renewables and energy services, engineering and design, and construction and facility services. We are adding an Associate Estimator to our growing New Construction division in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating work with sales, engineering, and operations personnel.

Requirements

  • Solid math skills and an analytical approach to considering project scope and methods required.
  • Knowledge of building systems and applications required.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Nice To Haves

  • Estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews specifications and RFP documents to determine means, methods and levels of quality required.
  • Performs subcontractor and vendor estimate reviews.
  • Under direct supervision, coordinates estimating work with various disciplines.
  • Participates in discussions and meetings with subcontractors, vendors, architects, customers and management.
  • Communicates estimate status with the chief estimator on a daily basis.
