Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR 1+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older.
  • Drivers License to commute to sites for tech repair (within 50 miles of home site 2 CENTEROCK RD., West Nyack, NY).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm local time.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, instrumentation, and support systems of moderate complexity used in healthcare delivery.
  • Inspect, install, and perform inventory assessments and preventative maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
  • Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
  • Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.
