About The Position

As an Associate Scientist , you will contribute to projects across various sectors, including mining, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, and chemical facilities. You will gain hands-on experience through field surveys, data collection, environmental assessments, and environmental compliance projects supporting our senior scientists in delivering solutions that balance client needs with environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Resources, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of environmental regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance and hazardous material assessments, ensuring data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for environmental assessments, permits, and compliance measures.
• Support small-scale project management, including monitoring timelines, budgets, and scope, under the guidance of senior staff.
• Communicate complex environmental findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in overnight and out-of-state travel for site visits, with a willingness to work a non-traditional schedule as needed.
