Job Description Position Overview As an Associate, Environmental Compliance & Strategy, you will support responsible development, construction and operation of utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and thermal energy facilities across the US, with a focus primarily in the central plains states. Under supervision from experienced colleagues, you will support environmental-related due diligence, planning, permitting, and compliance for a dedicated portfolio of energy projects. To fulfill these duties, you will collaborate with internal project teams such as development, engineering, and construction management; external teams like environmental, engineering consultants and external legal counsel; and external stakeholders such as private landowners, state/federal resource agencies, and conservation organizations. The successful candidate will be an organized and collaborative self-starter with a keen attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects at various stages of development, construction, and operations.
