As an Associate Enterprise Technology Developer Entry, you will be joining the Enterprise Content Management and Automation team at SMUD, where you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment focused on delivering AI solutions tailored to enterprise needs. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including content management, digitization, collaboration with business partners, requirements analysis, technical documentation, programming, solution development, and operational improvements. You will also be involved in administration, configuration, process automation, content migration, system upgrades, patching, scripting, validation, testing, user training, change management, and resolving support tickets. Your contributions will ensure that SMUD's enterprise applications are state-of-the-art, stable, accurate, and reliable, meeting the organization's needs effectively. The position is classified as an entry-level role, where you will receive formal training and/or certification to progress to the journey-level classification. This progression is expected to occur within 18 to 60 months, depending on the training and certification program's length. If you do not successfully progress to the journey-level, you may return to the last classification held or separate from SMUD. Your primary duties will include planning, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications, as well as providing technical support and analysis across various IT areas. You will be responsible for documenting business processes, addressing integration issues, and developing testing criteria and scenarios. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will also engage in project management activities, coordinating and prioritizing work activities associated with internal and external projects. This includes communicating with team members, providing staff training, and assisting in budget administration. Your role will require you to evaluate work performance results and participate in the selection and orientation of new personnel.
