This position will focus on supporting Bombers and Military Commercial Derivative modification and sustainment contracts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in establishing and managing DMSMS programs, ensuring the continued operational effectiveness of our military aircraft.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and problem-solving methodologies.
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in DMSMS and obsolescence management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Familiarity with military aircraft systems and modification processes.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in the aerospace industry

Responsibilities

  • Establish DMSMS Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issues.
  • Gather Engineering Data: Collect and analyze engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyses.
  • Identify DMSMS Risks and Issues: Monitor and identify risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readiness.
  • Evaluate Impact: Assess the potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operations.
  • Develop Recommendations and Roadmaps: Create actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder requirements.
