About The Position

The Associate Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized.

Requirements

  • Project Mangamagne - Ability to manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants. Create a project/change management plan, establish and distribute project roles, and communicate what is needed from the project participants in order to make the project successful.
  • Leadership - Demonstrate "Individual Leadership Behaviors" as per Celestica Leadership Imperatives.
  • Financial Acumen/Business Planning - Solid understanding of Celestica's budgeting and accounting system and the cost accounting practices relevant to engineering work.   • Entry level to 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.
  • Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield
  • Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied
  • Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid unstinting of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
  • Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.
