About The Position

The Associate Engineer Systems position at Northrop Grumman involves supporting the development of revolutionary systems in air and space that impact lives globally. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 0 years of engineering experience (Level 1) or 2+ years of engineering experience (Level 2) or a Master's degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Practical working experience with system architecture design, trade studies, and performance analysis and simulation.
  • Technical experience with supporting hardware development utilizing antenna, RF, digital, optical, and/or microelectronic technologies.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Completed relevant coursework in essential experience areas.
  • Strong leadership qualities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support architecture trades and design analysis for space communications systems.
  • Conduct performance modeling through computer simulation.
  • Provide systems engineering support to hardware developments for air, space, and ground systems.
  • Engage in system architecture design, trade studies, and specification development.
  • Define and allocate requirements and perform performance analysis and simulation.
  • Develop system modeling and simulation tools.
  • Support hardware design, manufacturing, integration, and testing.
