With an over 140 year history, we provide reliable, innovative comfort solutions for hospitals, schools, military bases, and stadiums. As a Sustaining Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued performance, reliability, and safety of our products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer support, to identify and resolve technical issues, implement design improvements, and support product enhancements.

Requirements

  • Up to 2 years of experience in sustaining engineering or product development.

  • Working knowledge and proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, Creo, and Windchill.
  • Experience with product testing, validation, and compliance with regulatory standards, such as ASME, CSA, and ANSI.
  • Experience with boiler control systems, automation, and Internet of Things (IOT) technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of products to identify and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Monitor and analyze field data and customer feedback to identify product performance trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute testing and validation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer support, to drive product improvements and implement design changes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain/Purchasing to evaluate and select components, materials, and technologies to meet product requirements and improve product performance.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and service technicians, by addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing product documentation and training.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, engineering change orders, and reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
  • Participate in product design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analyses to identify and mitigate potential product issues and improve product performance.
