About The Position

The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers may solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements. Software Engineers who design, write and test code for the product should be matched in the either Software Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering. Let’s talk about Responsibilities As an Associate Engineer, you will work directly with talented individuals of all levels. With guidance from the departmental leader, you will work on several product teams. The right candidate for our position will be expected to know commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the myAir App and Software testing process and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the job's functions. This is preferred to be on-site/hybrid role located at our ResMed. headquarters in San Diego, CA. Candidates will be asked to be available to participate in on-site team meetings. Requirements

  • Computer Science academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Software Engineering) or any related field)
  • Experience with [Python, JIRA, Software Test, Android and iOS Mobile Apps, AI]
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures and applies basic theories, concepts, principles and methodologies in analyzing situations or data
